Description:This Conservation Agreement (Agreement) has been developed to expedite implementation of conservation measures for Columbia spotted frog (Rana luteiventris) in Utah as a collaborative and cooperative effort among resource agencies. Threats that warrant Columbia spotted frog listing as a sensitive species by state and federal agencies and as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (ESA), should be significantly reduced or eliminated through implementation of this Agreement and the accompanying Conservation Strategy (Strategy). The goal of the Agreement is to ensure the long-term persistence of Columbia spotted frog within its historic range and support development of statewide conservation efforts.
