The Great Salt Lake is the key to Utah's past and its future. The Utah Legislature created the Great Salt Lake Advisory Council to advise on the sustainable use, protection, and development of the Great Salt Lake. Members are appointed by the governor and represent various affiliations: Aquaculture, Conservation, Extractive Industry, Migratory Bird Protection Areas, Publicly Owned Treatment Works, Box Elder County, Davis County, Salt Lake County, Tooele County, Weber County, and Municipal Government. |
